Slip Sliding Away

This picture of our Lanai was taken when we first bought the house. The plastic garbage chairs that came with the house have long since been in the trash.

I swear I think I am jinxed or something. I am feeling some what better. My chest isn't killing me anymore, and I'm not so stuffy. So I was active today.

Dr. Corny was pressure washing our Lanai today, so I went outside to see how it was going. Well stupid me said, oh you missed a spot. So he handed the pressure washer over to me and I got to finish the job. Ok, no biggie, I pressure washed the Lanai. It was looking all clean and I was quite proud of myself. So, I took my shoes off because they were wet, and walked back into the house. Well, for those of you who live in FL, you know the Lanai is usually off your kitchen and you go out thru a slider. So, I walked into my kitchen, my feet hit the ceramic tile floor and away I went! Sing a-long with me...Slip Sliding Away. Now, I knew I was gonna fall and I knew it was gonna hurt ...bad. So I tried in those split seconds to control my fall. I twisted this way and that way, and made sure I landed on my azz. I figured that with as much padding as I have back there, it would cushion the fall. OMG. I landed like a bomb drop. I swear the house moved. Wanna know what I felt? PAIN. Instant pain that brought a tear to my eye, and I'm no sissy.
This is a more recent picture. Taken from the backyard thru the screen using zoom.

This is the pain that I felt. For you girls out there. Ever ride a boys bike while you were standing up, then your foot slipped off the peddle and you slammed down on the bar? Yep, that pain. That oh my Gawd I split myself in two pain. And I hurt my thumb. I don't know how in the hell I hurt my thumb. Its swollen and purple. So..I went from being sick to this crappola.

But it gets better. We had to go to my mom's today. I had already called her earlier and told her that we were coming. My sister has been here, staying at my moms for the past week. I haven't been to see her yet. There was no way she would have believed me if I called and said , I wasn't coming because I fell. So we went. I sat outside on HER Lanai and watched Mini Bug swim with her niece and nephew, and explained to my mom and sister that I was in pain. When I told them were I hurt, they laughed. I'm not kidding...they both started laughing. They said, Only YOU Bug, would fall and get hurt there. I didn't stay long, maybe an hour. I went home.

Enough is Enough already.

Tomorrow I have to take Mini Bug to the Dr for her physical and to see if maybe her Dr. can tell me what language she is speaking in. My family seems to think speech therapy might be in order. But then, maybe not. Maybe I am the one who needs therapy!!!!!!!!!!

I will catch up real soon. Promise.

New Dress For A Night Out.

What girl doesn't need an elegant evening dress or 2 or 3 in their closet?

I need to buy some new evening dresses. When I was packing to move, I thew a lot of clothes away, or gave them to friends, so that I didn't have to bring so much with me. I have done a lot of shopping down here, but mostly casual clothing. Every day wear. I need to be ready for an unexpected fancy night out.

I found some really nice cocktail dresses that were designer originals on line at http://www.elegantmart.com/ I think I'm going to have to hit my hubby's credit card. These dresses are beautiful!

Don't breath my air.

I'm sick! I felt it coming on 2 nights ago. Yesterday I felt like crap, and today I feel like crap that someone stepped in!

So, I'm going to try to rest as much as I can today. I think I have a head cold with bronchitis. My chest is really tight and hurts when I cough.

Thanks everyone for all your comments. I promise I will reply to each of you and visit your blogs real soon.

I really did find a Gem when I joined EntreCard, because I seem to have made such wonderful new nice friends.

Rent me a Dream

Ok so the angels are finally asleep (knock on wood) and I am sitting here in a very quiet house. I'm in heaven. I should be in bed myself....but I want to take this time alone and just enjoy it.

So what am I doing? I am daydreaming. Daydreaming of what I would like to be doing if I had the freedom to do whatever I wanted to do again.

Guess what it is. Forget it, you will never guess. I am dreaming of motorcycle adventures yes that's right. Me, Spicybug wants to go on a motorcycle adventure. And I know exactly who I want to go with. I would love to sign up with Eagle Rider and go on one of their tours. Do I know how to ride a Harley? You bet your sweet round bottom I do. Haven't done it in about 20 years, but I imagine it's the same as getting back on a bike. I long to do it again, at least once more in this life time.

Why do I want to go with Eagle Rider? Well, because they rent Harley's, and have tours, in fact, their guided motorcycle tours are recognized throughout the industry as "the best guided motorcycle tours and vacations in the world." They also have Self Drive Tours (Hotel & Bike)
and Adventure Tours. They also offer One- Way specials and Motorcycle sales.

S0 this is what I am daydreaming about. Surprise you? For those of you who know me, from way way back on my Hell on Heels day, no I suppose this wouldn't surprise you at all...but for my new blogging friends, I'm sure your really surprised! Good, I like to keep surprising people. Sameness is boring.

I'm a Muther

So, there are some out there with the impression that I am a mommy blog. All I can do is laugh, and keep laughing. I do have children now, after not having small children around for a long long Loooooooong time. I don't know what I did to Karma to piss it off so much, that I now have to be a "mommy" all over again. (I love these kids and would die to protect them now, don't get me wrong) All I do know is that this time around, the freaking rules changed!!!

Raising kids now is nothing like it was when I was raising my sons. Let's see, my oldest just turned 29, asshole number #2 is 27, and the youngest is 21. I certainly don't remember it being so hard when they were young. I don't remember fretting over whether or not they were talking at the right age, or if they were potty trained according to age guidelines. In fact I don't remember worrying about too damn much. Maybe back then, about where I was going to get the money for diapers, or how I was going to find a babysitter to go out on a Saturday night..but I don't remember worrying about whether they were developing at age appropriate levels. They just did. Things just happened naturally. Now it seems kids are under a microscope. They should be doing this at this age and that at that age. Who says so? Did they all come out of a freaking mold or what?

Mini Bug doesn't talk in a language I can understand. She understands herself very well...and expresses herself loudly all day long. When I ask her what she said....she repeats the exact same gibberish. So it means something. She can say a lot of words, like Bless you when someone sneezes, or sit down, and where did it go? I don't know. But to have a conversation...I swear she sounds like she has terettes and speaking in a foreign language. Of course everyone around me, errr like family members seem to think she should speak clear sentences by now. She is 2 1/2. And that she should be totally potty trained. Their loveful nagging is starting to get on my last nerve. So I made an appointment for her to see her Dr so he can evaluate her and see if something is indeed wrong with her. If she needs speech therapy then she will get it. If she is fine, then I can tell everyone to..bug off!

See, I don't remember anyone ever caring if my sons spoke or not. I know my youngest didn't want to talk, but then he had 2 older brothers that spoke for him..so why bother. His first sentence was to my mother who had come over to visit one day. He looked at her with his big blue eyes and said. You bitch! He was about 2 1/2 also. I about died on the spot. She didn't say a word. But see...he could talk. hahahhaha.

But remember, I have had this blog long before I got custody of Mini Bug and Mighty Bug. I was a free woman, not at all suffering from the empty nest syndrome. I was spunky and some even said snarky. I would tell it like I seen it. Actually I still am that way. I just don't have the time to see or tell anything anymore. But when I do, look out, because I have been holding a whole bunch in.

So am I a mommy blog? Yeah..I'm a real muther alright. ;)

Are You Lonesome Tonight

I would hate to be single today. Seems like life is much more complicated now. My friend who is single was talking to me the other day. She said she can't find a decent guy. She doesn't like the bar scene, and wouldn't want to pick a guy up from a bar anyways. Why purposely end up with a drunk. She isn't into religion, so finding Mr. Right in church is out of the question.

I was thinking about her today, and was wondering what I would do if I found myself single again. My solution I think would be to find a Dating Affiliate Program and try to find Mr. Right from there. So being a Curious George, I went searching for Niche Dating Sites

I think I hit the pay load when I found Singles Cash.com. They have so many different Dating Affiliate Program sites listed that if you can't find what your looking for there, I don't think you can find it anywhere.

So, if your lonesome why don't you give it a try.

Torture Them First!

Do you agree with the Supreme Court's decision outlawing executions of people who rape children??

I not only think they should be executed, but tortured before execution! Why are we always protecting the people that we need protecting from? That our innocent children need protected from.

What are you thoughts? Are there any circumstances where you would defend a child molester, should they have any rights at all? Should they be allowed to live so they can do it again, and in my opinion, they will do it again. They can't be rehabilitated. This is a hot spot for me. I firmly believe they should be killed the first time. No second chance.

Female Pampering Take Time For Yourself

As you all know, and I have said time and time again, I love to shop on line. I also love to catalog shop.

One of the things that I use on line shopping for is personal female products. I'm a tad shy, (don't laugh I really am.) about going into a store to buy personal female products. One of the catalogs that I really love is Time For Me. They have everything, from Apparel to Shoe and Foot Care, Beauty Essentials, and yes even Intimacy.

When it rains like it is now, my bones start to ache. I know a lot of people have the same problem, guess it comes with age. Not saying I'm old, just saying, it comes with age! So I was looking for Personal Massagers or even Electronic Massagers to help massage the aches out of my hips. That's what I love about shopping over at Time For Me. I can look at everything they have and not be embarrassed. Yes I even took a peek at their Female Vibrators. Oh La La! Girls click on that link and see what they have to offer.

You can order their catalog on their site, or simply shop on their site, which ever way you prefer. I like to have both. But I always do my ordering on line. Fast because they get the order immediately and simple because I don't have to fill out an order form, get an envelop, put a stamp on it, take it to the mail box and then wait for several days for them to even get the order. No for me, I like to shop directly on line. I like things fast. Well, most things fast.

So if your looking to pamper yourself, check out Time For Me, I'm sure you will love this site as much as I do.

Chatter

So yesterday I cleaned my big fat azz off! Well, it felt like it anyways, I just looked behind me, and yep, it's still there, not worked off yet!By Dinner time I was exhausted. There wasn't a part of my body that didn't hurt, I mean even my hair hurts.

I still have 2 more rooms to go, but I will save that for tomorrow. My aching ole bones need to heal today. Plus, Mini Bug was/is in top form and there is no way I could get anything done around here. I put Mighty Bug down to sleep several times today only to have her wake him up almost immediately with her running and yelling. Actually she sings. I don't know what language she is singing in, but she does it on top of her lungs...and dances around the house while doing this. Her energy is in over drive today. And Mighty Bug is full of gas! Not a good day.

I put a new thingy over there on my side bar to put my new ecard blogging friends in. If you would be so kind as to leave me your link, I will get you in there as soon as possible..like between burpings and diaper changings, and all the other stuff that steals my time and sanity. Leaving me a link would be so very helpful. That way I don't have to go searching. Thank you. Here, have a bon bon. I'm gonna have two.

I love Gifts.

Dr. Corny told me that he would like to buy me a gift. Of course he always asks what I would like, no sense spending money on something I wouldn't like. Years of marriage has taught him this.

I know you like gold he says, how about gold watches? You don't own a watch, would you like one?

Hmm I thought. I haven't owned a watch in several years. I used to own watches...I can't remember for the life of me why I stopped wearing a watch. Guess I didn't care what time it was? I dunno. But the more I thought about it, the more I liked the idea. A nice watch would be very nice, but I don't think I want a gold one. I have enough gold.

So I started to look on line for different kinds of watches. If it was something I was going to wear every day, then I didn't want anything too fancy or elegant. Something nice but classy would do.

Then I this:
I love the TAG Heuer watches. and I really really like this one. I found it at The Watchery. After looking around on their site, which is amazing. I also read that with select purchases The Watchery is offering, either a Free Watch with purchase or 80% off your purchase. As they say on their site..Deals like this don't come around very often, so take advantage and claim your FREE watch (with purchase) today. I love shopping on line!

Mommys Gotta A Messy House!

I will be playing catch up tonight or maybe tomorrow, and get around to answering comments and visiting your blogs.

Today...I'm house cleaning. I promised myself that I would not stop until everything was spic and span clean and sparkling. In order to get that done, I have to stay away from the computer and figure out a way to keep Mini Bug occupied so that she doesn't keep trying to steal the mop and vacumm sweeper away from me...she mommy's little helper.

So until this house passes the White Glove Treatment..I will see you later : )

Searching for Free WP Templates

As I mentioned earlier, Dr. Corny bought me my own .com. I have been slowly working on it, and by slowly I mean, snail slow.

I was going to pay to have someone design it for me, but I really don't want to spend the money on that. So I have been searching for wordpress templates. That is time consuming and time isn't something I have a lot of anymore. It's so hard to bring the creative side of me out, while burping a fussy baby and surfing the Internet at the same time.

I did come across a site that has many really nice wordpress templates to chose from. I have gone thru about half of them, but I still need to find the time to look at the rest. I liked what I saw, very professional, very creative, and I could search for right side bar, left side bar, widget ready etc. If your interested in Free Wordpress Templates, then you should check out TopWPThemes. They have such a large variety you will probably find something that suits your style. I was kind of interested in this one: Succession of moments Let me know what you think.

I know what I don't like, and that is black. I can't read writing on a black background. So that is out of the question. I don't know exactly what I am looking for in graphics tho. So, its going to take me some time to make the new .com my own. If anyone out there has any ideas, well...I'm all ears!!!

Award Time!

I have been given an award. Wooohooo! Actually I was given the award on Thursday, but due to an over abundance of diaper changing and bottle feeding and general cumbersome things that need done on a minute to sometimes second bases around here, I haven't had the time to accept this honor until now.

Roxy has given me the "Arte y Pico Award." Now, (cough) even tho I don't know what in the heck it means. I am deeply honored. Honored enough that I even brushed my teeth and hair to sit here and accept it. No I didn't find my hair brush, thank you for asking. I went and bought a new one. Yes I did go into the store looking funky to buy it. Yes I am in my pj's, again thank you for asking. No more questions please.

Isn't this award pretty!

Ok let me set it down here, because the darn thing is very heavy and my arm feels like it's gonna break and I'm pretty sure I'm going to have a stiff neck tomorrow from holding it for so long.

Ok, now to quote Roxy "Back to the award at hand... this little beauty was designed by the “Arte y Pico Blog” as part of a tag initiative where you pass along the compliment to other bloggers."

Now, here are the rules and regulations, as well as my nominees for the next five deserving winners of the Arte y Pico Award:

1) Pick five (5) blogs that you consider deserve this award for their creativity, design, interesting material, and also for contributing to the blogging community, no matter what language.

2) Each award has to have the name of the author and also a link to his or her blog to be visited by everyone.

3) Each award winner has to show the award and put the name and link to the blog that has given her or him the award itself.

4) Award-winner and the one who has given the prize have to show the link of "Arte y Pico" blog, so everyone will know the origin of this award which is here Arte y Pico

Whew that is a lot of stuff to do to accept an award. Was I given an award or a work load? I dunno. But I'm still smiling and honored : ) See my pretty white teeth that are bushed?

So, without further ado, and so I can lay down down and take a nap, while the kids are napping here are my 5 choices.

Becky

Belinda

Jolly

Kath

Rebecca

Thank you very much!

Safe The Toes, Buy Boots

I don't care who you are, or what you do, everyone in my opinion needs a good pair of work boots laying around.

Dr. Corny has an Executive Position at his work. When he comes home and does work around the home, remodeling, yard work, whatever, he always puts a pair of work boots on. His always have a steel toe. Why? Well, for an example, when we were putting new steel beams across the ceiling in the basement of our old home, if one of those suckers would have fallen down while they were installing them, off with their toes baby. Same thing with pushing a lawn mower, your much safer if you have a pair of steel toes on. Harder to slip and cut your toes off instead of the grass if you have steel toes on. In fact several of my sons friends have done that...not just one, but several. Guess they run with dumb and dumber..I dunno.

Anyways, Steel Toe Work boots is our family preference. You don't have to have steel toes, but you should have a good pair of good quality work boots.

Dr. Corny buys his boots from Work Boots USA, because of the fine quality of boots they carry and because of the free ground shipping on orders over $50.00. Check them out. See if you like them also. Save the toes!

Roxy's Naughty Dog

My mouth seems to have turned in a human garbage disposal with the off button broken. I can't freaking stop eating! At this rate, soon I will turn into a balloon and explode if poked with pin!!!!!!!! Someone fix my button please!! Something went screwy in my wiring. I don't wanna be a fat person!!!! HELP

I was reading Roxy today and her post Days When The Dog Ate My Post. She was talking about Quality of Blog Posts. It was interesting reading, and made me think. She made several good points and I agreed with her.

I just want to add this. Reading anything, whether it be a blog, or a novel, or newspaper, is all about personal choice and preferences. While I might not enjoy reading romance novels, there are millions out that do. I would rather read Time over People, but People is a huge magazine who doesn't really care if I like to read it or not.

Same thing with Blogs. There are those out there, who think their blogs are the cats meow..and think everything they write is mind exploding and people should stop what they are doing and stand and cheer because of it. Get over yourselves. For every person who adores your blog there will be another who can't stand it.

People who make a blog do it for their own reasons. If they want to write about the weather or how many diapers they changed that day...hey, go for it sweetie, it's your thing, do want you wanna do. There will be others who will read you and and social network with you. Those that don't will move on. Who is to say, your wrong or worthless. Not me, that is for sure. Even blogs like that can get a high ranking if they work it hard enough and get enough people to follow them...like minded people.

So, my point is this. (aww shit, I forgot what my point was, give me a minute) Forget it, I can't remember and the baby is crying, and needs changed, and I caught out of the corner of my eye that Mini Bug has a magic marker in her hands and headed towards the wall..and waaaaaa I wanna cookie.

Anyways, go read Roxy if you want some tips on how to improve your bloggin so that others will write about you and give you some linky lovin.

PS...if you know what my point was..please let me know, in fact if you know where I left my hair brush, let me know that too...I'm starting to look a bit funky.

Lasik Surgery is not Cheating

On Sunday we went to my mom and dads to drop off a fathers day gift for my dad. My dad loves golf and even at 70 still golfs 3 times a week. So we bought him Titliest Golf Balls. His eyes lit up,which made my eyes light up. Me myself, never cared for the sport. Don't know much about it other than you hit a ball into a hole. While we were there they had the TV on and mom and dad were watching Tiger Woods on TV. My mother adores him. As it turns out Tiger did win the U.S Open and capture the 14th major title.

While watching the TV, I took my glasses off to change the baby, who was laying on the floor on a blanket. I have to take my glasses off now when I do anything close up, because, well...my eyes are getting retarded. So, I laid my glasses on the floor, and lo and behold guess what happened. Mini Bug comes running thru the room and stepped on them. Yep, broken twisted glasses. So while my mom was trying to fix and strengthen my glass out, Dr Corny says to me. Bug, I think it's time you get Lasik surgery done and get rid of those glasses. My mother than piped in, ohhh did you know Tiger Woods had that surgery done? We didn't but it was nice to know. Daddy-O then chipped in and said, Yes Tiger had it done and some people say it's cheating. I said, how can that be cheating? That makes no sense to me at all. If he wore glasses or contacts would that be cheating? No. If something is wrong with your body and you get it fixed, that is not cheating. I swear I don't understand how some people think. Even the Air Force allow
s laser vision correction for fighter pilots, Special Forces too. I don't understand how anyone can think that fixing something that is broken on your body is cheating.

Anyways, my husband aka Dr. Corny had Lasik Surgery done in 2006. He now has 20/20 vision. I was worried when he first started talking about getting it done. I didn't know much about it then, and was concerned about his eyes. He was adamant..he was getting it done. Well he did, and other than having to wear goggles on his eyes at night for a week (so that while he was sleeping he didn't rub his eyes) and using eye drops for awhile (I can't remember how long he had to use them but it wasn't long or inconvenient for him), he didn't have any problems at all. The day after his surgery he could see perfect! For him, there was no pain whatsoever. He recommends the surgery to anyone that asks him about it.

He has been wanting me to get the surgery for some time now, and keeps mentioning it. Now that my glasses are broken and twisted, and I walk around squinting, he wants me to go get an examination. Lasik surgery isn't for everyone. There are some people that can't have it done, and I am thinking I am in that category. I have existing health problems like my heart and other things. He says it doesn't hurt to get an examination and at least try. I suppose he is right.

I was searching on the web for Lasik Surgery, and looking for a Dr. that offers Free Consultation , silly me put in the wrong zip code so I got the listings for Lasik in San Francisco

Too bad I don't live in San Francisco because
LaserVue also offers, no down, no interest financing, and you can apply online so you know if you qualify even before you make an appointment. Payments are about $60 a month.

So I will do another search and find a Dr closer to me here in FL, or talk to Dr. Corny about me flying back to PA and having it done at the same Dr. he had his done with. Or I will chicken out completely and just go get a new pair of glasses.

Spicyz Top 10 Linky Love.

I recently joined Entre Card. I had been seeing it around blogsville on several different blogs so I checked it out and decided to give it a shot.

It's been kinda fun, I get to see a lot of different blogs and read all kinds of stuff. I have my favorites already, that I really enjoy reading. It has improved my traffic and I even get comments now..wow.

My only complaints are that sometimes it moves too slow. Right now it seems to be running good tho. The other complaint is...if you want people to make a drop in your box, don't hide the friggin thing so that I can't find it. If I have to search for your drop box, forget you..I'm moving on. I swear some people have the brains of a flea. k..enough of that.

I want to give a shout out to my Spicy 10 drops. I have a widget thingy over there----->
on my side bar that tells you who are the 10 top droppers on my site. If you want one of those
go over to MTMD's Blog and get the instructions. That's where I got mine. It was pretty simple and I thank him for that.

Roxy has been my top dropper since I joined Entre Card. She is usually always the first to leave a comment on a new post I put up. I first seen her blog on Blog Explosion, and I liked her and her blog from the start. You know how you know if you like someone right from the beginning? Well that is how I felt about her. If you never read her, go give her a visit. She's a blast.

I have known EastCoastlife since my hellonheels days. She has a great blog, I don't get to comment on her blog because I simply don't have the time...but I do read her every day.

I love this blogs title Kin's Home of Slightly Cracked Dreams. This is one of the blogs I found while dropping. I like it, go check it out. Thanks Kin for being in my top 10.

NYNG...what can I say. Gotta love it. This man takes the most amazing pictures. I miss our days in the "shout box ! I sent you an invitation to join Pack Rat, are you going to join??? I wanna steal your stuff!

Gas Savers, hmm I don't have clue, but heck it's in my top 10 so you deserve a shout out : ))) Thank you.

Full Body Work Out, I drop on this blog every day. My finger does get a workout, click drop! HAHA...honestly, go check it out. He has work outs that can be done in less than a half an hour.

MTMD, this is another one that I have seen around since my HOH days. Nice blog, Nice blogger go check it out!

Scramories, this is such a pretty blog. I always enjoy reading her. Thank you for dropping on me.

Enigma is another one that is new to me, that I found while surfing and dropping. There are so many really neat blogs out there, that I would never have found if it wasn't for Entre Card.

About Off Shoring I read and drop on this blog a lot. It's grown on me. Don't ask me why. It just has.

So, that is my Top Spicy 10 drops as of today. I will do this off and on, when the mood hits : ) Linky Love is always nice.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot (slaps self upside the head!) Check out my renter today. That Crazy Mom.

Parenting is Hard, Doing it Twice is Harder

Haven't put a personal post up in a while, and I have (at least I do right now) a few moments, so I will try to get this in as fast as I can before I lose my free time.

I have had long hair for a very very long time. In fact, I haven't cut my hair in the last 11 years. This weekend ended all of that. I got a shower and then asked Dr Corny to cut my hair....I had him cut it to just under my chin. Why? Because I kept finding stands of my hair in the babys hands. So..off with the hair. It will take some time for me to get used to it. It's lighter thats for sure. I gained weight, so I think I look like a freaking pumpkin now. Oh well, two things will happen, 1, I will lose this damn weight, and 2, the hair will grow back.

Raising children is hard...very hard work. It was hard work when I was in my 20's and raising 3 boys, I was very young, healthy and active then. It was still very hard work. I'm raising my grandchildren as my own now. Mini Bug is 2 1/2 and Mighty Bug is now 3 months old...and let me tell you guys, it freaking hard hard hard work. I think what makes it harder is that I have already done this. You would think that, that in itself would make it easier, but that isn't true. It's definitely much harder now.

Like I said, I already raised my sons..they are grown men now. I was free. Free meaning, I could go to the bathroom when I wanted, without a little one standing in front of me trying to get a kiss while I am on the toilet. Free meaning, I could lay down and read a book, whenever I wanted to, Free to go to the store and shop, by just getting in my car and driving off. Free to wake up when I wanted and go to sleep when I wanted. The list could go on and on and on. I lost my freedom. Now my every waking moment is centered around these two little angels. Would I change it. No. Actually yes, if I could change anything I would change the fact that their parents, could have raised them themselves. But that isn't possible, and it's even dangerous to the children, so no...I wouldn't change my mind at all about being their mommy. I love them, with every inch of my heart.

But...just sometimes, I long for quiet time..me time...time to shave my legs, time to paint my nails..hell...some days time to brush my own damn teeth. I know things wont be this hard forever, that they will grow, and be able to do simple things for themselves...like getting a drink, or wiping their own butts. The day will come when they don't cling to me anymore. I will probably be sad when that day comes, just as I was with my first batch of kids ( hahahaha I don't know how else to describe it)

It's hard now because I can't run as fast as I used to, and believe me, Mini Bug has me on the go, a lot. I don't have the endless energy I had when I was younger. I need that back some how. Do they sell it in a pill or something?

I think it would be easier if I could put Mini Bug in preschool, but that's out of the question right now. We aren't eligible for head start, it's an income thing, and when I called about prices, I couldn't believe how expensive preschool is. 140 a week, is a lot of money...don't you agree? So that's a no go for right now. We also can't get WIC or any other freebie the govt offers. Formula cost a freaking arm and a leg now..and so do diapers..holy shit. I really don't know how people who are living hand to mouth do it...other than they do get help like wic and head start and stuff, but that can't be enough. So...no preschool for Mini Bug. We can't justify that cost on one income.

I was thinking about going back to work...but that's not practical at all....the cost of daycare would eat up any salary I made...and I maybe could work part time.

A friend of mine did tell me about PayPerPost..and I did sign up and I do get some opportunities..and they do pay! But I don't get enough opportunities, and I only have a Page Rank of 3, so I can't take anything that offers any kind of money. If any of you out there want to help me, you could always link to me and try to get my page rank up so that I could make more money....that would be a nice thing...if I could make enough to get Mini Bug in preschool..that would be a blessing..a huge one. Then she would be able to be with other kids her age, and I would get the couple of free hours a day, to vacuum my house or something. Mighty bug is easy at this point...he eats sleeps, poops, and then sleeps again. He smiles a lot also..very happy baby. I like to think he is smiling at me, and not just tooting out of his butt all the time . Would it be terrible bold of me if I put a pay pal donate button on my blog? I don't know what the hell to do.

Anyways..that's it for now.

Ohhhh yeah, I wanted to ask about that EntreCard thing I am now doing. How in the sam hell does anyone get 300 drops in one day? I tried...the closest I got was 200 and that was through out the whole day. Also, is the Entre Card site super slow for anyone else besides me? I don't have the time or patience to wait 3 minutes for a freaking page to load. I need some pointers here.

Happy Fathers Day Dr. Corny

I want to wish my husband aka Dr. Corny "Happy Fathers Day"

He is the best Daddy that ever walked. When these kids needed a dad, he stepped right up to the plate and didn't bat an eye. He took full responsibility immediately and loves these children as if they were his own. In fact, he will tell you they are his. I love this man, more than words can ever express.

He is right there when a hug is needed, a ball needs thrown, a diaper needs changed, or bottle needs warmed. He is no slacker when it comes to parenting that is for sure. After a longs day work, and he walks thru the door, the first thing he does is pick Mini Bug up, and give her hugs and kisses, bends over and pats the dog...then gives me a fast smooch while he takes the baby out of my arms and gives him a hug and kiss, and talks and coo's to him. He doesn't hestitate to make dinner if I am busy with the kids or even load the dishwasher for me.

I am so thankful to have him in my life.

Happy Fathers Day Sweetheart. I love you.

Not from your body

your heart gave birth

I was your child

you gave me worth

Not of your flesh

no less your own

You taught me love

see how its grown

Seasons Change and So Do I

With the change of the seasons, I like to change my bedroom colors and decor. I have always been that way, I suppose it's because my mother did it, and her mother did etc etc. I also get bored looking at the same ole thing.

So, it's time again to change my bedroom colors. The first thing I like to do is change my bedding. I don't know about you, but I shop for my bedding at Waverly. I love their selections, and the fact that I can chose what I want from home and have it delivered to my front door.

I have never been disappointed in anything that I have bought from Waverly. I love the fact that I can get everything coordinated and matching. I'm a stickler about everything having to match. If it didn't I probably would go insane. I like my curtains to match my bedding, and my pillow accessories to match. I can get all of that at Waverly Bedding.

Everything that I have bought is excellent quality and really holds up. I have several sets that I store away to use later. But every now and then I want something new. Like right now. I'm also thinking that I should redo Mini Bugs bedroom also.

I am thinking this Waverly Meadow Fern Bedding would be nice for Mini Bugs room, tell me what you think.

Waverly Bedding has been around for 75 years, it's a name I know and trust. I don't like to waste my money and want good quality products that will last a long time. I also love the huge selections to chose from, everything is so darn pretty I would like to have it all!

Two Wolves

An old Cherokee chief is teaching his grandson about life:

"A fight is going on inside me," he said to the boy. "It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves.

"One is evil - he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, self-doubt, and ego.

"The other is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.

"This same fight is going on inside you - and inside every other person, too."

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf will win?"

The old chief simply replied, "The one you feed."

Car Hire Service WorldWide

Now that summer is soon here, I am once again dreaming of going to Italy. Probably not going to happen this year because we got a new family member, but a girl can dream, and search anyways right? I was searching around for airplane tickets, hotels, car rentals etc. I did find a fantastic site for car rentals, only I guess, in other countries it must be called car hire or something. Heck if I know, all I know is this place was great on prices, and they are located in tons of different countries. Which for me is good to know, and I will keep this site filed away for future reference. When Dr. Corny is finished with his Ph.D we plan on doing a lot of travel over seas. I really can't wait, and so looking forward to that.

Anyways I was searching for a Car Hire Italy and sure enough this company has car rentals in Italy also, and dig this...for 3 days, I found I could rent a car for 51.62. Hell when we first came down to FL for job interviews and house hunting, we paid 180.00 for 3 days. So I think 51 bucks is a very good deal! So if your looking for a worldwide car hire service with fantastic rates, check out Arguscarrentals.com, and save money on car rentals so you have more money in your pockets for extra fun!

How Loud and How Long

Have pity on me...I go thru this several times a day, difference, mine is a 2 1/2 yr old girl, and she can scream louder and longer. My nerves....shot!

Freaking Dirty People!

I love Florida, but I can't stand the freaking litter!

Whats wrong with people down here? They just drive down the road or highway and throw their freaking trash out the window.

I live in a very nice area of Florida, on the Gulf Coast. My home wasn't cheap, nor are most homes in this whole area..YET, no matter where in the hell I go, I see trash laying along side of the roads. This really really pisses me off. Beautiful homes, tropical weather, palm trees, and TRASH! Does this sound like Paradise to you? Is this the Florida Life Style I keep hearing about?

This is what I have to say about it...fine these bastards 1000.00 for throwing trash out of their car windows, and go after them with a vengeance. Law enforcement would make a lot of money if they would crack down on the litterers. The City Officials should be ashamed for how dirty our area is.

I swear I am going to start taking pictures and placing them here in my blog so the whole world can see how dirty my town is. I can't understand why homeowners aren't in an uproar over this. Freaking dirty people!!!!
Oh and get this....we are in a severe draught. Guess what I seen just other day...the car in front of us, throwing hot cigarette butts out the windows...3 of them flew out of one car from different windows. Guess they wanna burn FL down as well as turn it into a garbage dump.

Zooming Helps Build Better Cards

My very favorite niece is getting married. I am very excited and happy for her. I was helping her look for wedding invitations on line (of course I do a lot on line, it's so much more convenient) we were searching and searching, and my eyes were starting to go buggy from looking at all the fine print.

Then we came across the site 1st Class Wedding Invitations, holy cow, they have the "zoom" feature! We could zoom in and see the fine details on each and every invitation on their site.

I have to admit, we chose them because of this feature, and the fact that the cards are so beautiful. We decided on a Tropical Beach Style. Here is an example of the card we are going to buy.
Of course this is just the site example and not our actual card with our details! But, if you click on the card it will take you to the site and you can see for yourself, how cool the zoom feature really is. I haven't come across any other invitation sites that have this feature.

Like I said before, the choices are huge, and the quality is amazing. Everything is very easy to navigate through and the added convenience of being able to look through all the invitations and designs and see what they look like once your information is on them is really a huge bonus. It's no fun to stand in a store and look through books and books of invitations to decide what you want. I love shopping on line.

More information on DXM

This addiction literally owns my son. He is addiction to this shit like it was heroin.
I am helpless, there is nothing I can do, except try to educate the public, and make them aware of this. Before my son started doing this, I had no idea that you could get high on cough and cold medicine.

DXM is a synthetically produced substance that is chemically related to codeine, though it is not an opiate. DXM is an ingredient in more than 140 over-the-counter cough and cold remedies and since the 1950s has gradually replaced codeine as the most widely used cough suppressant in the United States. It is available in capsule, liquid, liquid gelatin capsule, lozenge, and tablet forms. It also is available in powdered form on the Internet--typically for sale to laboratories conducting research on DXM.
When ingested at recommended dosage levels, DXM generally is a safe and highly effective cough suppressant; however, when ingested in larger amounts, DXM produces negative physiological effects. Reports of DXM abuse have resulted in monitoring by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and DXM could be added to the Controlled Substances Act if warranted. In 2003 legislation was introduced in Texas and North Dakota to prohibit the sale of DXM to minors. The proposed legislation did not pass in either state. A similar bill introduced in California this year was also defeated.
Slang terms for DXM include DM, robo, rojo, and velvet. Slang terms for DXM intoxication include robo tripping, skittling, and dexing.

DXM Plateaus
Abusers describe the DXM experience as occurring on four different plateaus. Abusers ingest increasing amounts of DXM (based on their weight) to reach each succeeding plateau. Abusers report the following effects occurring in each plateau:

First Plateau: Mild inebriation.

Second Plateau: An effect similar to alcohol intoxication and, occasionally, mild hallucinations. The abuser's speech can become slurred, and short-term memory may be temporarily impaired. Third Plateau: An altered state of consciousness. The abuser's senses, particularly vision, can become impaired.
Fourth Plateau: Mind and body dissociation or an "out-of-body" experience. The abuser can lose some or all contact with his or her senses. The effects at this plateau are comparable to the effects caused by ketamine or PCP (phencyclidine).

Over-the-counter products that contain DXM often contain other ingredients such as acetaminophen, chlorpheniramine, and guaifenesin. Large dosages of acetaminophen can cause liver damage; large dosages of chlorpheniramine can cause increased heart rate, lack of coordination, seizures, and coma; and large dosages of guaifenesin can cause vomiting. Some first-time users may not abuse DXM repeatedly if they experience negative side effects--such as vomiting--commonly associated with the other ingredients contained in over-the-counter DXM medications. Nonetheless, some DXM abusers "robo shake," a practice whereby they drink a large amount of cough syrup containing DXM and then force themselves to vomit so as to absorb enough DXM through the stomach lining to achieve the desired effect while expelling the other ingredients. Some more experienced abusers use a chemical procedure to extract the DXM from the other ingredients contained in cough syrups to avoid such side effects. (This procedure cannot be used on DXM products sold in nonliquid form.)

DXM abusers can obtain the drug at almost any pharmacy or supermarket. Most seek out products that have a high concentration of the drug. One of the most frequently abused products containing DXM is Coricidin® HBP Cough & Cold, which contains 30 milligrams of DXM per tablet. Abusers often refer to Coricidin® HBP Cough & Cold as triple C because of the three Cs imprinted on the red tablets. Other slang terms include skittles, dex, candy, and red devils. Another frequently abused product containing DXM is Robitussin® DM, a syrup that contains 2 milligrams of DXM per milliliter.

Air Purifiers for Dust and Pollen

I have horrible allergies. Bet you didn't know that one. I suffer terribly at times. Not only am I allergic to outside pollens, but also to dust. Certain smells like those from plug in air fresheners give me terrible headaches.

I was thinking about getting an air purifier for my home, something to take the pollen and dust etc out of the air, and I was looking for a site to give me a comparison of air cleaners that remove the dust and pollen from the air in my home. I did come across this site, Aircleanersguide.com that had a huge amount of information. Of course Mini Bug needed my attention and the baby started fussing, so I had to put it all on hold. But as soon as I get a free moment I will go back to investigate and read and decide which air purifier is best for me.

Shaved Candy Girl

Remember Candy Girl ...my shih tzu? Yep we still have her. She is 3 now. She used to be our baby..until the kids arrived. Now, she belongs to Mini Bug. Remember how I used to keep her hair long and groomed with bows in her hair?

Well no more. I got her shaved back in PA and swore that I would never do it again. Ha! Now she is always shaved. I just don't have the time that it takes to keep her hair knot free. I have to admitt that I think she likes it better with the hair off. I of course loved her long hair touching the ground, and her looking so pretty and girly. Oh well. It's hot here in FL anyways, I suppose all that hair on her would be torture. Ohh how times have changed for me.

Furniture Shopping On Line.

As I have stated before, since I got the kids, I absolutely hate shopping now. There is no pleasure in taking 2 under 2 in the store kicking and screaming the whole time.

I try to find most of what I need on line. What I mean is, for things that take time to look at and decide, like furniture for an example.

When we bought our home down here in Florida, we left most of our furniture in our home in PA. We have been shopping slowly, room by room to get everything new. When we bought our living room furniture, we were in the store for quite some time. Needless to say, Mini Bug had, had enough about middle way thru the shopping. She was crying and bouncing all over the store. Not fun. We did get a new living room suite, that day but I went home with a headache the size of Mount Rushmore. The same thing happened when we went to buy her, her new bedroom set. Again...not fun at all.

We are now looking for a bedroom set for ourselves I found a site that put a huge smile on my face. At FurnitureFromHome.com, you can sit in the comfort of your home and shop for all your furniture needs. They carry everything, and I mean everything. From Bedroom Sets, to Living Room Sets, Dining Room and even Home Office Furniture. I love this site. It's all good quality furniture. Home delivery across the USA is included FREE on all of their quality beds and bedroom sets, unless otherwise noted. That's a good deal! I know that when I bought our recent furniture purchases, it cost us well over 80 dollars to have it delivered just 10 miles down the road. I hate wasting money like that. I love Free..ohhhh yeah!!

My oldest son, called me today and said he needed to get his youngest son a new bed, so I told him about the site I found, and also told him that they have a Furniture Store New Jersey which is close to where he lives. I hope he finds what he is looking for.

This and That

Guess what! I have my own .com. Yep, hubby bought it for me. I couldn't get spicybug.com but I got something very similar so that isn't too bad. I'm not going to tell you where it is yet, because I am still moving in and making it mine. I am going to use wordpress I think, and I am totally clueless about wordpress..but then I am totally clueless about a lot of things. I am going to keep this one until everything is switched over, so it will be quite a while.

Anyways, I'm very happy about this, but I just don't have the time I need to devote to it. Mini Bug demands my every waking moment almost. I'm sure she is just a tad bit jealous because of the new baby, so I am hoping this will pass in time. If it doesn't...it's off to the funny farm for me.

Functional and Decorative Shutters and Hardware

As you have all heard me say over and over again...I moved to Florida. Paradise, hot topical weather, beautiful palm trees, ahhhh it's the life. But, I do have a new worry that I never had before and that is hurricane season. I haven't experienced that yet. The closest I came to it, was getting the after effects from Hurrican Ivan in PA. Everyone got flooded.

So, hmmm..I have to think about hurricanes now. Some say that I have enough hot air that I could be classified as a hurricane, but I just blow that off!

What I do want is shutters on my windows. For two reasons. 1. duh..hurricane season, and 2, the beauty of it, and being able to open and close them, to help keep the hot sun out of my home.
So exterior shutters is my best bet.

My home is a weird color, ( I love all the different colors in FL) it's not pink, maybe like a mauve, I dunno, I will have to ask someone else, what the color of my home is. I also have a tile roof, not shingles. So I want to get shutters that will accent my home. I suck at picking colors, so I will need some help on that one, and of course I will pick a shutter that can hold up to hurricane winds.

I'm looking for exterior shutters that I can order on line and hopefully get free shipping too. Now wouldn't that be a sweet deal?

If anyone has any clue as to what kind of colors go with mauve..pink, let me know. Oh, and I hate flashy, If I can find a picture of my home, so you can see the color, I will post it. Maybe you can tell me what color it is.

In all my Quirkiness Glory

RoxiticusDH tagged me with the unspectacular quirks meme. I haven't done a meme is a long time, so this should be fun. The fact is... EVERYTHING about me is unspectacular, and quirky so this should be easy!

Here are the Rules (oh there are always rules!)

1. Link the person(s) who tagged you

2. Mention the rules on your blog

3. Tell about 6 unspectacular quirks of yours...

4. Tag 6 following bloggers by linking them…

5. Leave a comment on each of the tagged blogger’s blogs letting them know they’ve been tagged.

Ok...here goes.

1. I can't stand to hear people chew their food, or gulp a drink. It makes me mad instantly and I want to rip their lips off their face. Been that way all my life.

2. I have night blindness and can't see in the dark..at all. I always have to have a light on at night or I can't see to go to the bathroom or anything. Needless to say, I do not drive at night. Been this way forever also.

3. I do everything fast...and I can't stand it when someone talks to me and takes forever to get to the point. I have been known to interrupt and say..get to the point.

4. I have tend to like the underdog. The one that nobody else likes.

5. I always forgive. It might take me a while, but I always do. I can't stay mad forever and after a while, I start to feel sorry for the person I was mad at and put myself in their shoes.

6. The only soda I will drink is Mountain Dew. I drink a lot of it. I drink it because of all the medication I am on for my heart..it all makes me very sleepy. So I drink the dew to keep me awake and alert! Dr. Corny says, if you open me up, a dew truck would roll on out of me. I know I have to stop drinking it, but I don't know what else to do. Besides that, I really do like the taste of it.

Ok..sorry to do this, but I gotta tag 6, so here goes.

Whew, ok I did it.

Digital Photography Forums, Professional and Novice.

I love taking pictures of Mini Bug, and now also Mighty Bug. They are both beautiful children. My photography skills are lacking to say the least. I was searching on line for some place to learn more skills and talk with other photographers to get tips and ideas. I was also looking for a free Photoshop Tutorial.

What I found was No BS Photo Success. What attracted me the most was the Digital Photography Forum. It doesn't matter what level of Photography skills I have, I can post any question and have it answered by professionals. I can interact with the best. I checked out their Photoshop Tutorials and in 1 minute I learned the art of blurring. I have been trying to figure out Photoshop for years now.

Their site is very user friendly. Everyone is treated with respect regardless if your a Professional Photographer, or a novice like myself. There are no ego trips there. In fact I would say that if you are a professional photographer this site would be great to help hone your skills and grab some new marketing techniques.

They offer a money back guarantee, and like I said before, their Photography Forum can't be beat. I was reading their testimonials, and they have a lot of happy photographers in their group, it was very encouraging.

So, if your like me and looking for a good Photography Forum, you need not look at further than No BS Photo Sucess, Inc.

DXM Abuse

Today was a terrible day for me. Asshole #2 son who is addicted to cough medicine for years now, is hitting bottom again. He is way way out there, and has lost total touch with reality. I got a phone call from him today, that left me in tears. Today, he was insulting..calling me every horrible name you can call a person. This is not my son...I don't know this person. My son, even when messed up was always respectful to me, even if his words drove me batty. Those of you that know me, and have been reading me since my Mrshellonheels days, know the emotional roller coaster that boy has put me on. Things haven't gotten better over the years, they have only gotten worse. He has shot periods of time where he stays "sober" for lack of a better word, but its only for short periods of time. This boy who isn't a freaking boy anymore...he is a 27 yr old man in fact, is a very handsome man, who could have had the world by the balls if he only didn't take the path to destruction instead.

He causes me endless heartache and worry and grief. What's a mother to do? I can no more turn my heart off on him, then I could cut off my right arm. He is my son. But, how do I stop the pain that he causes me, how do I make myself numb to it all?

It's his children that we are raising now, his children who call us mom and dad and we will adopt. Sigh...what more can I do for him. I didn't ask for any of this. Remember...I have a serious heart condition. Very serious. The children do not stress me out, not in a bad way anyways, they are normal little creatures under construction. They tire me out, but they don't stress me. In fact they give me a lot of happiness and joy. (I will remind myself of that the next time I am chasing Mini Bug thru the house while she is peeing on the floor and laughing her little head off)

Anyways....for those parents out there, that don't know anything about cough medicine abuse...for those of you that think its a joke...it is no joke, its no laughing matter. It's real, it's serious, and it's on the rise. Anymore it the teens drug of choice. Easy to get, and legal, and the way my son explained it to me, its like tripping on acid or pcp. Never did pcp so I couldn't tell you what that is like...I'm guessing pretty intense. So for those of you that are clueless about this...read on. And say a little pray for me, when your done. I'm gonna need all I can get. I don't want to bury my son...I don't want him to ruin his health and life forever. I don't want him to end up in prison because he has lost touch with reality and is making very very bad decisions.

There is a site called FiveMoms.com that you might want to check out also...I linked to them when I was HOH. They are great, and very informative.

Read on:
A common ingredient in many cough and cold remedies has become a popular substance to abuse by teenagers searching for a cheap, easy high.
Dextromethorphan (DXM), a cough suppressant, is found in at least 70 over-the-counter (OTC) products, including Alka-Seltzer Plus Cold & Cough Medicine, Coricidin Cough and Cold Tablets, Dimetapp DM, Robitussin cough products, Triaminic cough syrups, Tylenol Cold products, and Vicks NyQuil LiquiCaps, according to the Partnership for a Drug-Free America.
Used as directed on the label, DXM products are effective at suppressing cough and are safe to use. DXM was approved by the FDA in 1958 and has no side effects when used in small doses—typically, 10 to 20 mg doses every four to six hours, or 30 mg every six to eight hours.
When taken in vastly larger quantities, however, DXM produces a distorted awareness, altered time perception and hallucinations, according to the University of Maryland's Center for Substance Abuse Research (CESAR). And if taken along with other drugs—even other OTC medications like acetaminophen—the combination can cause liver damage, heart attack, stroke, or death.
Abuse on the rise
Cough syrup abuse has been a problem for decades, but the concern in the past had been about the alcohol and codeine in cough and cold products. Because of that, the alcohol has been removed from most OTC cough and cold remedies, and products that contain codeine now require a prescription.
DXM seemed a good alternative to codeine and alcohol. It had few, if any side effects, when used as directed. And a larger quantity of DXM—downing several bottles of cough syrup at one time, for instance—would cause vomiting.
Teens have alternatives to drinking the syrup, however. Today, DXM is also available in powder, capsule, and pill forms, particularly over the Internet. These forms can be swallowed or snorted, according to the Drug Enforcement Administration. Some Web sites even tell users how to extract DXM from cough syrup and advise users how much DXM to take to get high. Illicit users may take 240 mg to 1,500 mg of DXM at a time.
The Partnership for a Drug-Free America estimates that one in 11 teens has abused cough medicine or other OTC products.
According to CESAR, slang terms for DXM include Black Beauties, Brownies, Dexies, Dextro, Drix, Gel, Groove, Mega-perls, Poor Man's Ecstasy, Red Devils, Robo, Rojo, Rome, Sky, Triple C, Tussin, and Velvet.
Effects of abuse
The effects of DXM have been compared to PCP (phencyclidine) and the anesthetic ketamine. All three are called dissociative substances: At high doses, they give the abuser a feeling of not being in one's own body. DXM also produces hallucinations. The effects can last up to six hours, but that can vary, depending on how much DXM is taken and what other drugs or chemicals are taken along with DXM.
People who regularly abuse large amounts of DXM are also at risk for ingesting toxic amounts of other drugs, such as acetaminophen, found in OTC cough and cold medications that contain DXM.
According to CESAR, other effects of DXM include:
Hot flashes
Nausea, vomiting, and dizziness
Lack of coordination
Panic attack or seizures
Impaired judgment
Sweating
Lethargy or drowsiness—or hyperactivity
Slurred speech
High blood pressure
Rapid eye movement
Rash
Racing or pounding heartbeat
Paranoia and hallucinations
Feeling of floating
Regular abuse of DXM at high doses can lead to toxic psychosis, in which the person loses contact with reality and is in a perpetual confused state.
What you can do
As a parent, you should warn your children about the dangers of abusing OTC drugs. Some teens believe that OTC drugs are safer to abuse because they are legal.
Here are other suggestions from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services:
Monitor the OTC drugs in your home. Keep track of how much medicine is in each bottle.
Don't buy extra OTC drugs to "stock up."
Don't allow your children to keep OTC drugs in the bedroom, backpack, or school locker.
Monitor your children's Internet use, keeping an eye out for Web sites visited that discuss OTC or other drug abuse.
Use OTC and prescription medicines responsibly yourself.

Shopping for Fathers Day at Optics Planet

Father's Day is coming up, and I am still searching for the perfect gift for Dr. Corny. He is such a wonderful father, and I want to find him a gift that will make him grin from ear to ear : )
With summer coming up, I'm sure he will get into more of his summer activities, like hunting and shooting. The other day he was talking to my dad about Rifle scopes, but I really don't know much about them. I am thinking a new Rifle Scope would be the perfect fathers day gift for him. So I did a search and found out that I can find out everything I wanted to know about Rife Scopes at Optics Planet.com They have a huge selection to chose from and even reviews and a page on how to chose the right one. Perfect for someone like me. So after looking around their site more, and seeing all they had to offer, which is huge and just about everything a person would need for summer hobbys, I also found out that I can buy the telescope I have been wanting. I love to sit and look at the stars at night, a new telescope would put a huge smile on my face. So maybe while I am getting hubby his new Rife Scope for Fathers Day, I will be getting myself a new Telescope also because they are offering Free UPS Shipping on most orders over $29.95. Sounds like a deal to me.

Rocking Baby to Music

It's 2 am, the baby is up, and doesn't want to go back to sleep. This is what I am listening to right now. I absolutely LOVE this song. Others have remade it but nobody does it like Dobie.

Do you have a favorite 70's song or songs?

This is my favorite Peter Frampton Song.

I got this over at Nicks place "Anything Goes" It is for such a good cause that I just had to jump in.

The Breast Cancer Site

Your click on the "Click Here to Give - it's FREE" button helps fund free mammograms for women in need — low-income, inner-city and minority women whose awareness of breast cancer and opportunity for help is often limited. Your click is paid for by site sponsors, and mammogram funding is provided to clinics throughout the U.S. through the efforts of the National Breast Cancer Foundation

My youngest sister was just diagnosed with Breast Cancer, shes has been going thru Radiation Treatments and we are all hoping for the best.

So please take a couple of seconds, and click on the button before you click out of my blog.

Nick tagged everyone on his blogroll to do this, (even tho I am NOT on his blogroll! >snicker<). So I will do the same thing. I am tagging everyone on my blogroll. Even if your not on my blogroll, do it anyways, send me a comment and I will put you on my blogroll. Thank you

You Comment I Reply.

I've joined the You Comment I Reply Movement.
Let's be honest. We all love comments. I blog, to interact with the blogging community, not just to talk to myself. When I get comments I feel good. I like to get to know people better, I enjoy when someone comments to something I have written, that they took the time to read me, and took the time to give me feedback. If you say you don't...I don't believe you. So if you would like to jump on the band wagon and join in...click on the link and get your own badge. I think it's fun! I might not be able to comment back the exact same day, but I promise, I will soon enough

Masterpiece

This is her daddy!
Mini Bug is getting so big. She is much taller than most other kids her age. Because she is so tall, everyone expects her to act older than she is. Everyone forgets that she is still under 3...doesn't matter if she wears a size 5-6. She is still a toddler who can't talk sentences yet. And I might add, has learned the art of temper tantrums! God Help Me
